A short story about us

In May 2024, my world changed when my beloved dog, Summer, fell gravely ill and I had to say goodbye. She was my closest companion, and I longed to keep her memory alive. Drawing from my prior experience in glass making, I decided to create a unique piece that would incorporate her cremated ashes, allowing me to carry a part of her with me always. As family members admired this tribute, they requested similar pieces to cherish Summer's spirit in their own homes. During this emotional process, I discovered a newfound passion for watercolor painting, focusing on birds and animals. This creative journey led me to establish "Summer and Me," a project that beautifully honors her memory while allowing me to connect with others through art. In every piece I make, I find solace and a way to celebrate the bond we shared.
